Thanks Mark!

Since about Thanksgiving, Mark has been working two jobs. Not because we are up the proverbial Shit Creek, but because he is fucking awesome at what he does. This means he usually wakes up around 6:00am and doesn't get home until 10:00pm on a good night...and even those were few and far between. I've learned not to complain though, because when it comes to the entertainment industry, work is fickle. It is either feast or famine. We've experienced famine, so we welcome the feast.



However, over the week between Christmas and New Year he didn't have to work at all. I got kind of lazy and took naps in the middle of the day, went to the supermarket by myself, and other such mini-escapes one can only do with the help of a spouse on vacation. It was so nice to have him home, and not have for him to work so hard for a minute.

But...He is back to working doubles again, hopefully for only 2 more weeks.

It is hard getting back into the swing of doing life by myself for a while. I know it won't last forever, and I know better people have experienced worse, but man this shit is hard. Respect to all the single parents, parents whose spouses travel or work long hours, etc.
